He tells Vogue, "I was sitting in the audience and the intermission came and I couldn't believe there was a second act. I mean, it was too good to be true.
"From that point on, I was a total theatre geek. I played the trumpet, and I remember my teacher coming over to me and saying, 'Some day you're going to be in that pit playing the trumpet.' And I thought to myself, 'Oh no, no, no - I'll be on the stage.' I just had this instinct that that's how it was going to go down."
